A thread lift is a minimally invasive procedure using ultra-fine, dissolvable threads of PDO (polydioxanone) or PCL (polycaprolactone), materials long used in medical sutures. Placed under the skin, the threads reposition sagging tissue for an immediate lift and stimulate your own collagen over time.
It is not a painful or frightening procedure: it is done under local anaesthesia, and most people return to normal activities shortly afterwards.

Questions
What is the difference between PDO and PCL threads?
PDO threads mainly lift and tighten and typically last around 6 months. PCL threads are more robust, last longer (up to 18-24 months) and stimulate more collagen for gradual, sustained rejuvenation.
Will I look pulled?
No. Done by an experienced professional, a thread lift gives a naturally refreshed look without over-tightening.
Can threads replace a facelift?
They are ideal for mild to moderate sagging and a non-surgical alternative, but they do not replace the results of a surgical facelift.
Can I combine threads with fillers or Botox?
Yes. Combination treatments often give the most balanced result.
