Losing weight is not just willpower, and it is not one-size-fits-all. Hormones, metabolism, fat absorption and appetite all play a part in why it can feel hard.
Our doctor-supervised plans make the process easier, safer and more effective. Each one is personal, combining prescription therapies, nutraceutical support and expert lifestyle guidance, with medical monitoring throughout.
Fat metabolism support
Phosphatidylcholine (PPC) based capsules help the body break down and clear stored fat, alongside L-carnitine and choline (which move fat into cells to be burned), garcinia cambogia, green coffee extract and L-theanine for cravings. Possible effect: mild digestive sensitivity.
Nutraceutical support
Supplements that complement a programme, or stand alone for those not ready for other treatment: a liquid fat-metabolism formula (L-carnitine, bitter orange, ginseng) and a metabolic detox powder (artichoke, birch, turmeric, prebiotic fibre) for digestion, bloating and fluid balance.
Fat absorption blockers (orlistat class)
Work in the gut to block about 25-30% of dietary fat from being absorbed, without suppressing appetite. Typical weight loss is about 4-8% of body weight over 6-12 months with diet and exercise. Possible effects include oily stools and reduced absorption of vitamins A, D, E and K, so supplementation is advised.
Appetite suppressants (phentermine class)
Prescription medicines that act on the brain's appetite centre for short-term control of hunger and cravings. They can raise heart rate and blood pressure and are not suitable for some heart conditions or uncontrolled anxiety, so screening comes first.
GLP-1 and dual GIP/GLP-1 therapies
Prescription injectables that mimic natural gut hormones to keep you full for longer, reduce cravings and support healthy blood sugar. The semaglutide class has been shown to reduce body weight by 15-20% over 12 months; the newer tirzepatide class targets two hormones and produces greater average weight loss. Mild nausea is the most common effect, and ongoing medical supervision is required.
