Facial Balancing
Facial balancing focuses on treating your face as a whole, not just one feature at a
time. When we only enhance a single area, like the lips or cheeks, it can sometimes
make the face look uneven or unnatural. Instead, we assess your unique overall
proportions using the concept of facial thirds, Ricketts’ line for profile harmony, and
the golden ratio. We also consider facial width, projection, and contour through
angles like the jaw, jawline, nasolabial fold, chin, and neck-to-chin. By analyzing how
your chin, lips, nose, and cheeks relate to each other, we ensure every enhancement
supports overall symmetry rather than making one feature stand out too strongly.
When we harmonize your features together, we create results that look beautifully
natural, balanced, and completely unique to you.
Facial balancing makes you look just like you, but better: more awake, more refreshed,
and younger.
Which areas can be treated?
All areas of the face can potentially be treated. The specific areas addressed depend on where you have volume loss or asymmetry.
How many sessions are needed?
Treatment typically begins with Botox to address dynamic lines and relax muscle activity. Following this, fillers are used to restore lost volume in areas such as the cheeks, lips, chin, or jawline. Most patients achieve optimal balance with 1–2 filler
sessions, depending on the areas treated.
How long do results last?
- Botox: 3–4 months, with touch-ups recommended for ongoing effect.
Hyaluronic acid fillers: 9 –18 months. - Collagen-stimulating fillers: up to 2–3 years, with gradual natural improvement over time.
- PDO Threads: 3 – 6 months.
Is it safe?
Yes. All procedures are performed by trained medical professionals using sterile techniques and premium, approved products. Temporary swelling or bruising may occur, which typically resolves within a few days.
Pre- and Post-Treatment Advice
- Pre: Avoid alcohol, blood thinners, and NSAIDs 24–48 hours prior. Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face. Disclose any allergies, medications, or recent treatments.
- Post: Expect mild swelling or bruising. Avoid facials, saunas, or heavy exercise for 24–48 hours. Attend follow-ups as advised.
